How Does the EU PPWR Affect Beauty Device Packaging and Compliance?
 

The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR, Regulation (EU) 2025/40) applies from August 12, bringing new attention to the way products are packed and supplied to the European market.
 

For beauty device manufacturers and importers, packaging is no longer only about protecting the product during transportation or creating an attractive retail presentation. The materials used, the amount of packaging, recyclability and supporting documentation all need to be considered.
